Winner of the 2007 Best New Product award at the PGA Merchandise
show in Orlando, Florida, the Clicgear three-wheel golf pushcart is a must for
the frequent golfer.
|
This 3.0 version--released in Spring 2010--is the pushcart's third
incarnation, and ups the ante by providing a new front wheel lock, an improved
console, and a superior hinge lever for easier open and close. Fortunately, the
cart hasn't sacrificed its most notable feature: its ability to glide smoothly
down the fairway but also fold up incredibly small for easy storage. The
compact frame lets you take the cart with you just about anywhere, including on
the plane to your Scotland dream golf vacation. At only 13 by 24 by 15 inches
when folded, it's a breath of fresh air compared to most three-wheeled carts.
The upgrades range from the subtle--a new brake lever for easier
brake activation--to the obvious, such as the larger console and its improved
storage capacity. The console includes a ball holder, scorecard holder, pencil
holder, tee holder, glove holder, and towel hooks. In addition, the Clicgear
3.0 offers a new handle grip material that's more durable than the original,
along with a new mesh storage net that holds snacks and other small items. Some
of the holdover features include a low-maintenance wheel design, an
aircraft-grade aluminum tubing frame that's lightweight and durable, and
multiple color choices, including black, blue, silver, red, orange, kiwi, and
yellow.

Description
The hottest push cart in golf! Model 3.0 is new for Spring 2010,
and included many improved features. Still folds to an amazing 13" x
15" x 24" for easy storage and transportation. New mesh storage net.
New front wheel lock and main hinge lever for easier open and close. New
improved console and handle foam material. Made from aircraft grade aluminum
tubing for lightweight durability. Available in black, blue, silver, red,
orange, kiwi and yellow.
After extensive research
of all the push carts available, I kept coming back to this one for a few
reasons, the look, the features, and the size. The cart looks amazing, after
getting used to unfolding and folding the cart (which only takes 20 seconds
tops) I was able to admire the quality of the cart. You can tell quite a bit of
thought was put into designing this award winning push cart. The frame of the
cart is thick, and uses wide track tires. My friends and family have referred
to the cart as a tank, but for the beefy look of the cart, it sure does glide
across all terrains (uphill, downhill, fairways, rough, wet grass and dry
grass.). The cart has some great features as well! The newly improved brake
system is great, and it works just like flipping on a light switch up is on,
down is off. The new levers on the cart have easy access handles, and the front
wheel locking button has worked great so far! I have heard complaints of the
size of the 2.0 cup holder, but the newly improved cup holder will take on just
about any size beverage, I have tested cans, bottles, and even big 32 oz sports
drinks as well. By far my favorite feature is the cargo net and newly designed
console. The cargo net is great to throw your phone or keys into and not worry
about them falling out. The console for the cart fits a sleeve of golf balls,
three golf tees, your scorecard, pencil, and has plenty of room for a small
hand towel, golf glove and a snack or two for the course, the new grip has a
great feel to it too! Included is an umbrella holder which is great for hot
sunny days or rainy days ( For an extra $30 you can purchase an adjustable
umbrella holder.) One big reason I kept coming back to this cart over the rest
is the fold-up size. The cart is very small once folded up and again once you
get down unfolding the cart it is a breeze. Overall no complaints about this
cart other than the weight (The beefy frame is a bit on the heavy side), it was
a great buy and I would definitely buy another one! There are plenty of neat
accessories available for the cart, which I'm sure I will have eventually. The
price of the cart is reasonable considering the quality of the cart.
