Approach S1W is unlike any other golf GPS.
Combining a high-sensitivity GPS receiver with a lightweight,
flexible black or white sport watch, S1W gives you distance information to the
front, back and middle of greens for 17,500 preloaded U.S. and Canadian
courses. You can measure individual shot distances, track how far you walk on
the course, and then use the alarm to get you up in the morning. Approach S1W
is golf’s first full-featured sports watch and golf GPS in one.
Lock In Yardages & Measure Distances
Approach S1W will have you dialed in like a pro by providing
yardagesto the front, back and middle of the green. The sunlight viewable
screen features large numbering for at-a-glance visibility. S1W also measures
precise yardages for shots played from anywhere on the course. And for those
that like to walk, there’s the S1W odometer to tell you how far you traveled –
on the course, or off.

This GPS is simple to use, fairly accurate, well within my ability, and it's right there on your wrist. I just played a round with a guy with a laser range finder and I was within a yard of what he was seeing. He had to take his range finder in and out of the case and it took a few seconds to determine the distance. While he was getting his range finder out I would tell him the distance. He asked a few questions and by the fourth hole he said he has to buy one. Love it, recommend it, keep it simple.
